1. What is absolutely the best cookie you’ve ever had?

I think it would have to be Farmhouse Cookies!! The recipe can be found here and is delicious, and not too unhealthy cos of the muesli (that’s what I’m saying, and I’m sticking to it!)

2. What is a cookie you really don’t care for?

Funnily enough, despite the above, I’m not overly keen on oatmeal and raisin cookies, though Dave adores them.

3. What are some other cookies you are rather fond of?

I love cookies full stop, particularly chocolate ones! Chocolate in any cookie is goooood.

4. Grocery-store cookies are, of course, never as good as anything that comes out of someone’s kitchen, but what’s a packaged cookie that’s still pretty good?

The ones that come from the bakery section in packs of 5 from tesco (other supermarkets are available) are pretty good!

5. In general, do you think cookies should be chewy and gooey, or should they be crispy and crunchy?

Gooey and chewy all the way baby!

Firstly, a happy easter to my lovely readers, wherever you are and what ever you believe. We spent the day with Dave’s family today, and I made an easter egg hunt for everybody

Just call me the easter bunny!

I wanted to share my new beauty find with you all, I’ve been struggling with really dry lips recently and whilst looking for something to help I discovered this:

Neutrogena’s Immediate Repair Lip Balm.  It is a lovely little pot of loveliness that I just can’t get enough of. I love it! I’m never going to buy another lip balm again, it makes me lips soft and lovely without leaving them sticky.

And down there, in the corner is my other little bit of loveliness!

My friend Jen gave me my first ever bit of blog bling, its the sunshine award! Along with it is a meme about what my handbag holds That is a whole other entry for when my camera is back with me (I left it at mum and dad’s last time I visited).

So massive thanks Jen, I’ll do the rest of it when I can:)

These are

• Learning to drive
• Writing in my journal once a week
• Drinking a bottle of water every day (on days I’m not in work this is going to be at least 2 glasses)
• Contributing a million grains of rice to freerice (I’ve done 1500 ish)

I think Han and I might also help each other out by being penpals too!

I’m also working on getting Sammi to do her 101.

So thats the update.  I’ve got another blog idea in the pipeline, so expect something else soon!

So we rethought our visit, and we’re going to go back during school time to do the museums.

We went to Covent garden on Friday. Covent garden is one of my favourite places in the world. It’s like a gorgeous little town, with at least 3 bead shops! And we went in each one!

I was quite restrained. I didn’t spend too much in any of them, but 3 shops is still quite a lot! Dave was very tolerant too. Bless him! We then made our way to Denmark street so dave could look at his beady equivalent! Music shops .

We also visited hamley’s. It was crazy busy! Possibly even worse than the museums. I did get to ogle at bears though. We gave the comedy club a miss as well. We were both so so tired and our hotel was a fair way out of the city, so we just chilled out there.

I rounded the trip off with a massage on Saturday morning which was lovely!! I felt so chilled out afterwards.

And here we are, it’s Tuesday and I’m heading back on the train to London. This time for work, and I might even fit in a little trip to covent Garden again 

I love London. It really excites me! I’m not sure I could live their fulltime, but I do think the city is a wonderful place 

I spent some time recently at our group headquarters recently. Its near the gherkin, which I’ve never seen up close until that last visit. It’s a pretty spectacular building, but I think more impressive when you can see the whole thing. Or at least the shape.

So, we’re off and I’m really looking forward to it! Look for more blogs with a nodnol theme!

I am fully of the opinion that romance and love and declarations of either should NOT be confined to a single day. I think the day is hugely overrated and i agree that it is highly commercialised etc etc.

Now the confession part. If dave were to forget valentines day, I’d be angry, hurt and upset! He is very aware of this irrational facet of my otherwise sane and serene personality! (please insert winking emoticon here!)

We have the added pressure of our birthdays being close together and also to valentines day. So we don’t go mad or anything. It is at times like this I wish I could make something beautiful for dave, as it is, I’m not sure heart shaped earrings are really his thing!!

So, how do you celebrate this pink and red day? Do you have that same irrationality as me?

Also, if anyone has any ideas of unique ways of showing someone you love them plead comment away!!

It was my birthday on Monday and I got some really beautiful beads from my work mates, as well as a voucher for my favourite bead shop in Norwich. That quickly got spent

I’ve got another blogging stint lined up thanks to a friend of mine. I’m going to be reviewing books for a site called bookcrawler. There are various sites in the “family” as far as I understand they are comparison sites, the most used one is gamecrawler. So I’ll be urging you all to go along there at some point!

Erm.. I’m going to make a pair of earrings as a blog giveaway this weekend, so if anyone has ever run one please let me know so I can pick your brains!!
