Stuff amd nonsense
Thanks for the feedback on my jewellery
I get so much out of making it.
It was my birthday on Monday and I got some really beautiful beads from my work mates, as well as a voucher for my favourite bead shop in Norwich. That quickly got spent
I’ve got another blogging stint lined up thanks to a friend of mine. I’m going to be reviewing books for a site called bookcrawler. There are various sites in the “family” as far as I understand they are comparison sites, the most used one is gamecrawler. So I’ll be urging you all to go along there at some point!
Erm.. I’m going to make a pair of earrings as a blog giveaway this weekend, so if anyone has ever run one please let me know so I can pick your brains!!
Andrew has been missing
since 14 September 2007.

I did one where I made everyone write a haiku and then I picked my favourite to receive an iPod. It just made me laugh more than anything, certain people tried many many times and it was really hard to pick a favourite so in the end I just picked one at random!
I guess there’s something to be said to going down the random route — no favouritism etc. But not as much fun as Suburban Mum’s haiku, or something similar, though. Maybe you could do a combination of the two: pick at random; but one entry for the comment; and one for the haiku, or finish a sentence, or whatever; one for tweeting it out; etc — it would increase their chances of winning to have more entries. You could even allow multiple entries providing they were unique; though I would suggest only once for tweeting it.
I’ve never run one but I have won one. I had to find out how many pixels or something were in an image. I won an ipod shuffle. Most useless thing I’ve ever won, tried to load some mp3s onto it but it was having none of it. After a bit of Googling I discovered you need to install iTunes before anything will work on it. I unplugged it and it’s still in its box in a drawer. I’ll probably give it away as a Christmas or birthday present one of these days. Anyway, I think a pair of your earring is a much, much better prize.
Good to see you blogging again by the way
